The hotel is conveniently located near Roermond designer outlet, just 3km away. The historical building turned hotel is stunning and the rooms are immaculately clean. The surrounding neighborhood offers picturesque walks to a charming church and lovely village houses. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The parking space is fantastic, right at the hotel. Plus, there are many facilities available including free Wi-Fi, convenient luggage storage, a cozy bar/lounge area, and a restaurant. The helpfulness of the staff is commendable, as they even prepared a hot meal for me when I arrived late. Whether traveling alone or as a family, this hotel has everything you need for a fantastic stay. The breakfast is basic but nice, and there is a friendly local bar/restaurant just a 2-minute walk away. a positively amazing experience!

The rooms at Hotel de Abdij are simply furnished, which gives them a cozy and homey feel that I love. I really enjoyed the seating area in some rooms where I could relax and unwind after a long day of work. The private bathroom in each room was definitely a plus for me, providing convenience and privacy.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the basic bathroom setup with a bath or shower, washstand, and toilet.

We had a lovely stay at a charming hotel in a quaint village. The atmosphere was reminiscent of an abbey, with beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The village itself had an impressive castle and the location was close to Roermond. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

I absolutely loved the charming countryside style of the hotel. The decor reminded me of the old abbey houses you see in movies, with the cozy reading room and conference room being a delightful surprise. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with the rooms and common areas being easy to navigate.
The only thing I would have asked for as a senior traveler is a laundry facility. It would have been convenient to have a washing machine and drying machine available for use.

The hotel is located in a picturesque location close to the center. The friendly staff ensured a great service experience and provided good quality breakfast every day. The beautiful garden added a touch of tranquility to the ambiance.
Although the room price was negotiable, the quality of the bathroom amenities left something to be desired.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the city centre and great views of the surrounding area. We also loved the breakfast options which were plentiful and fresh. the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay.
The decor was outdated, and the bathroom was quite small and cramped. We also found it difficult to navigate the stairs and carry our luggage up to the room, as there was no elevator available.

Enjoyed my stay in a cozy place with a nice countryside view from the window. The interiors are elegantly designed and rooms are clean and cozy. The breakfast had variety and tasted delicious. Front desk staff were welcoming and courteous and gave useful local tips. Best aspects were a beautiful garden, great location and a stunning nearby castle.
The room size was quite compact for two persons. The bathroom was tiny and lacked necessary amenities like shampoo. The room came with insufficient lighting. The room temperature was not comfortable, and the TV quality was poor. Furthermore, the price and size of the room didn't go well together.
